Wishlist | Top 3 non-elusive Hermes Bags

Of course, everyone who knows the Hermes brand knows that the elusive B, K, C (Birkin, Kelly, Constance) are the most commonly requested items.

For me, ever since I received my Picotin, I've really seen just how different the quality of the bag is. **side note: I will be doing a 3 month review with full thoughts on pros and cons so watch this space. I've always known Hermes to have incredible craftsmanship, and I've found myself wanting really lusting over many of their non-elusive bags. Here are my top 3 wishlist items for non-elusive H bags.

1. Herbag Zip 31

The Herbag bag is known as the vacation Kelly, or also, more popularly, known as (which I don't quite like for obvious reasons) the poor man's Kelly.

This is simply because the style of this bag is very similar to the Kelly bag, but at a much more affordable price, with a much more relaxed look, and suitable for everyday wear and taking on vacation. Main differences are that the body of the bag is made of canvas leather, the closure is different with no Kelly lock (but still a rather complicated opening), the strap is not detachable and there is a zip on the outside for ease of access of frequently used items. The bag comes in a variety of colours, different canvas leather and hardwares and sizes (31, 39, 52). Personally I think the gold hardware Herbags look just divine, they're so lowkey and yet look so sophisticated. At a reasonable price of AUD3895, I would just love to add this to my collection.

2. Mini Lindy

For quite a while I was umm-ing and ahh-ing about the Lindy 26. It looked a little too slouchy and bulky for my liking and I wasn't sure if it would be flattering on me as it really looked quite round.

Then the Mini Lindy came around and I just fell in love! It is a mini bag but looks like it would pack an absolute ton and it looks so much cuter than the slightly chubbier looking Lindy. This is a casual yet effortlessly chic bag and depending on outfit type can really elevate a look. In my view I think this would be best for a shopping day out, travel, brunches, even date nights. The bag comes in a variety of colours and hardwares again. With my tall (174cm) height, I think that the bag would sit just right for me at the hip. Current retail is AUD9785 and I would hope to get this one in a neutral colour which I know is super sought after and hard to find. But I do feel like this one would be worth the wait!

3. Mini Roulis

Carrying on the mini bag trend, I really love the Mini Roulis.

I feel that this bag is so understated and unless you really know, you won't even know that this is a Hermes bag. The bag appears to have easy access in and out (no buttons to push or anything) plus adjustable straps. It is almost a more understated version of the Constance with no obvious logo or buckle. The bag typically comes in Evercolor and one of the reasons I wanted to add this bag to my collection is because I wanted to add different leather types to my H collection eventually. I've heard that Evercolor really brings out the colour of leathers too. I think that this bag would be the perfect evening or day bag depending on the combo you get. Definitely not a cheap one though at AUD10815 and I not very easy to get at all especially here.

And that sums up my top 3 items (for now!!)! I may do another post in a year or half a year and see whether my taste has changed!

Hope you enjoyed this. Please do share what bags you love in the H collection that are not the typical B, K, C!
